Steel Reserve 211 High Gravity ~ Miller Brewing Company

Appearance: clear light yellow with an off-white yellowish head which quickly fades into a thin ringlet. Swirls with white head and then disappears.

Nose: sweet cornbread and corn syrup. Seltzer, soap, and hard minerals. Corn husks and husks of sweet grains.

Palate: grainy then sweet in a hard-hitting cloying way. Corn, honey. Hard mineralistic seltzeresque quality throughout. Centered wholly atop middle center of tongue. Sweet corn then hay. Hides ABV well with intense sweetness.

Final Thoughts: why drink this when there are so many other balanced, flavorful, quality beers with that high ABV that people are looking for when they buy schlock like this. Blech.
